Atlanta, GA (September 7, 2019) – On Friday, September 6, police responded to the scene of a bus accident that took place at an Atlanta intersection and injured 14 individuals.
Police claim that the accident took place at the intersection of Delowe Drive and Campbellton Road. Two cars were involved in an accident and one of the vehicles went into another lane and struck a MARTA bus.
Two people in one of the vehicles were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while 12 people on the bus complained of various injuries, including neck and back pains.
Five were evaluated at the scene but the rest were hospitalized with injuries.
The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the crash continues at this time.
